AIZ Solidarity Grants for the attendance of Ukrainian students at the IZC School in Valencia (Spain) on July 1st-2nd, 2022
The Italian Zeolite Association (AIZ), as a part of The Federation of European Zeolite Associations (FEZA) together with other 16 National Zeolite Associations, has taken the decision to support Ukraine and all people suffering from the horrible war.
As a concrete action, FEZA decided to promote activities of the scientific community in support of Ukraine also including solidarity scholarship to Ukrainian early career researchers to attend a conference in the field of porous materials.
In accordance with this FEZA commitment, AIZ will support with two solidarity grants the attendance of Ukrainian PhD students and young researchers at the IZC 2022 Pre-Conference School to be held in Valencia (Spain) on July 1-2 (https://izc2022.com/index.php/school).
The grant will cover the early registration fee (175,00 €) for the attendance at the School. The application form (here attached) must be sent by April 25th, 2022 at info@aizeta.it along with:
- Certificate attesting the status of student or young researcher
- Motivation letter
The AIZ Board will select the awardees on the basis of their academic curriculum vitae and their motivation letter. Priority will be given to students living in Ukraine or refugees. In the case of equality, the grant will be given to the younger PhD student/researcher.
